Nepal was hit with a 7.8 Magnitude. Geophysicists have studied the plates around this area for years and reported that India is moving underneath Nepal and Tibet at a rate of 1.8 inches per year. Nearly 1.5 million people live in Kathmandu and Nepal has a per capita income among the lowest in the world. This is utter devastation.
