I've been a fool and tried to ignore the changing season. It wasn't until the sound of the chainsaw and the hatchet launched me out of my sleep one cold and dreary day, that I accepted the impending colder weather. It was full on fire preparation as piles of massive wood stumps and trees were dismantled by man's hands then meticulously stacked.
There is beauty in every season and I welcomed the change by photographing the wood stack a few weeks back. That rhymed. Wood is a naturally clean burning energy source. If you're handy like that, chop your own and save heaps on your energy bill.
Have a ball this Fall by staying wood warm, Southern Hemi.
