Only yesterday I was asked by a very curious 11 year old little girl, "Why do you have two cell phones?". Her mother cringed noticing I was caught off guard by the common tenacity of a child. It was a legitimate question, though. I do own more than one phone, ipod or smartphone but I am the mother in a family of five. Our busy reality today is full of technology and not surprisingly, this technological shift is being seen in the infrastructure on many levels. Airports with cell phone parking lots. Multiple adapter options at cafes. As we grow the companies have seemed to stream us all down as well. I remember when buying a cell phone came with a charger, extra battery, sometimes a car charger, that cool little cloth and amazing customer service. Not only are we more dependent, but the phones are easier to handle and use. Now, it's all a bit different and let's turn to Asia to examine the growth. Phone sidewalks are being tested for those uber users (does this include me?). Bumping into those heads down texters and googlers could be a think of our past. Take a photo without offending someone for the lane. Chat openly without disturbing others. It's the wave of the future so walk with it. Check out this article from CNN.com.
