Coca-Cola's Christmas in the Park brings Festive Family Fun

It is just about that time of year. You know. Time for shopping and Ho, Ho, Ho. There is no better way to kick off the holiday season than to attend Coca-Cola's 17th Annual Christmas in the Park! One of New Zealand's largest outdoor concerts, the festive & free event will be hosted by MORE FM's Simon Barnett and Gary McCormick at Christchurch’s famed Hagley Park on Saturday 24th November at 7:30.
Headlining this year's performances is none other than Australia's *Guy Sebastian, host of TV3's The X Factor Australia and winner of Australian Idol 2003 (Auckland only). The “godparents” of the iconic show, Frankie Stevens and Jackie Clarke are back and will be joined by a 200 strong cast of amazing singers, dancers and performers which  include choirs, Taiko drummers, kapa haka, hip-hop, modern/contemporary and belly dancing groups and the extraordinary aerial artist Skye Broberg.  There will be fun for all ages so bring the family for a night of music and holiday delights.

Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park continues to support Surf Life Saving New Zealand in their efforts to help ensure Kiwis have a safe summer at the beach.  Visit their site for ways you can support their efforts. For all you early birds, rising star Jamie McDell, makes a special appearance in support of Surf Life Saving, during the Ambassadors’ message at 7.15pm on the night of the concert.

Tip: Come early and for best parking access use Park Terrace/Rolleston
